Team question challenge - Rose Robinson
Rose Robinson, Project Manager, takes on the Team Question Challenge.
Her perfect evening would be a Japanese takeaway, some heavenly cheesecake and a quick catch up on Zoom with Michelle Obama...
Meet Rose Robinson, our Project Manager:
Q1: What is your favourite film or series?
A: This is Us, I love the way the parallel stories run across multiple generations of the same family. My guilty pleasure at the moment is The Masked Singer, great family entertainment and who wouldn’t want to see a singing sausage battle it out against a dancing badger!
Q2: What is the best bit of your job?
A: I love talking to our customers and helping to solve their problems. We have a wide range of lovely customers across all industries.
Q3: If you could start again and had to do something else, what would it be?
A: That is a tough one. I enjoy finding out more about the technical parts of what we do, so perhaps something more technical and hands-on.
Q4: What is your favourite pudding?
A: Cheesecake. I have got a great recipe for a baked white chocolate and blueberry cheesecake, yummy!
Q5: Has the coronavirus pandemic changed how you see the world?
A: It has made me appreciate the things on my doorstep and realise how grateful I am for family, health, financial security and a garden! Lockdown has been a great way of reconnecting with old friends over Zoom and my neighbour over the garden fence!
Q6: If you had to recommend a pub or restaurant in Oxfordshire, what would it be and why?
A: Not a restaurant but a great takeaway option during lockdown. Roll with me Sushi - their hot katsu curry delivered to the door has been a real treat.
Q7: If it was in the name of pleasure – would it be car, bicycle, walk, run, swim?
A: Running every time! Lockdown for me has been all about running; it is my way of staying sane and I have loved running in the beautiful countryside that we are lucky enough to have on our doorstep. Last year I ran the virtual London Marathon. I am lucky enough to have secured a place in the London Marathon ballot this year so fingers crossed I will be running my 1st real marathon in October.
Q8: You can invite three guests from any time in history to join you on a Zoom call. Who would they be and why?
A: Michelle Obama, I read her autobiography last year and found it inspirational.
Queen Elizabeth I, I’d love to ask her how she was able to maintain her rule in such a man’s world.
Amanda Owen from Our Yorkshire Farm; we have got into watching this series as a family during lockdown, i’d love to know how she looks so glamorous!
