Versantus certified on the Acquia Cohesion early adopter programme
One of our core company values is ‘Always learning and sharing knowledge’ and we’re always keen to apply this knowledge for the benefit of our team and clients.
We are delighted to announce that Ross Parkin, a key member of the Versantus front end development team, has passed the ‘Acquia Cohesion Early Adopter Training Programme’, with flying colours. Sam Cranwell, our head of design, is also enrolled in the programme and due to certify imminently.
Acquia is a global business and a Gartner Magic Quadrant leader in digital experience platforms, established by the creator of the Drupal platform Dries Buytaert. They are well known for providing enterprise 24x7 Drupal specific hosting services, but the business has developed to offer various cloud services, designed to complement and enhance the Drupal platform including;
- Acquia Cloud
- Acquia Cloud Site Factory
- Acquia Lightning
- Acquia Digital Asset Management
- Acquia Commerce Manager
- Acquia Lift
- And now Acquia Cohesion…
Acquia Cohesion is a low-code Drupal add-on that is more inclusive, collaborative, and agile; speeding up build times by as much as 4x.
Traditional enterprise websites are created by teams of people in software, design, and digital marketing. Marketing departments are often under pressure to release campaigns, but they have to wait until the end of the process before they can complete their work. Cohesion empowers these teams, making them less dependent on back-end development expertise, giving them more control and flexibility to edit content and even page layouts.
Versantus is an award winning digital agency based in Oxford, our multi-disciplinary team includes specialists in UX design, development, support and hosting, and we create exceptionally clever products, apps and voice interfaces using primarily open source tools, including Drupal and Wordpress.
As an Acquia partner we were excited to be selected for the Cohesion early adopter programme, in recognition of our commitment to Acquia and the Drupal community/platform.
